When Everything Changes in a Moment Hello, this is the second part of my tragedy. So you know, my phone is no longer working!!  Life can change in an instant. One moment you have everything in order, and the next, something unexpected happens that sweeps it all away. That’s what I experienced when my phone was broken. It might seem like a simple object, but inside there were hundreds of photos of memories I had collected over time. Each picture was a piece of my life: family gatherings, church moments, and simple but joyful days. In just one moment, all those memories were gone. This experience taught me an important lesson: things we build over time can be destroyed quickly, sometimes without warning. It’s a reminder that nothing is completely secure, and we must take steps to protect what matters to us. For example, I now realize the importance of backing up important files or photos. It also taught me to be more careful and value what I have, because even something smal...
When My Phone Decided to Go Swimming The day started so well, I was outside studying, enjoying the breeze, when I heard distant thunder. Like any reasonable person, I packed everything up and went inside. I placed my laptop, notebooks, and cracked-screen phone safely on the table… or so I thought. Fifteen minutes later, I went back outside to burn some trash (because, you know, multitasking life), and I took my phone with me to watch some YouTube shorts. I ran outside, and there it was… in the middle of a storm, taking a full 15–20-minute rain shower. And just to make things worse, it already had a cracked screen, so the water probably thought, “Perfect, an open door!” I guess phones need a little drama too. The Storm Behind the Storm I...
✈️ “That’s Terrific!”  My Awkward Moment with a Native Speaker 😳 I still remember the first time I ever had a real conversation with a native English speaker. His name was Tom, an American and I was just a student (well I still am). This story that ‘m about to tell you happened, I think, around the fifth session out of eleven. So yeah, you can imagine… I was still a bit shaky. Every time I turned on my camera or had to speak, I would overthink every single word I was about to say. Classic overthinking mode. 😅 Anyway, that day we were talking about something really serious: airplane crashes. 😔 We were discussing how tragic they were and how many people had died in different incidents. Tom even mentioned some statistics like, real numbers of people who had lost their lives. It was sad. The kind of conversation that makes you stop and reflect. So, there I was, trying to sound engaged and thoughtful, and I wanted to respond to something he said. I meant to say "That's t...
